Enerpro has an excellent in-house team of professionals, which are available to assist its valued clients..

Enerpro has established a reputation as the private power expert in Pakistan and has a successful track record of over 20 years. This is due to the experience and qualifications of Enerpro’s staff. Enerpro’s key professionals have held senior positions as power sector officials and each played an instrumental role in the development and evolution of Pakistan’s current energy policy and standardized security package agreements for IPPs. The institutional, technical and financial knowledge held by Enerpro’s staff concerning the power sector in Pakistan is virtually unmatched and is providing invaluable experience to its clients for the successful, timely and cost effective completion of all the assignments and milestones required for the commissioning of the Projects.

Enerpro has divided its team to provide head office support and site management during the construction phase as owner’s engineers. The following is the list of the key members of Enerpro’s team.


Mr. Shahid Hafeez Ahmed holds a Master's (M.S) degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems from USA and has more than 37 years of professional experience to his credit. He is one of the most experienced persons in private power generation. He is the founder Director and Director General of Private Power Cell (PPC) now known as Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB). He was instrumental in its capacity building and development of Policies. He processed the first private power project in Pakistan namely 1292 MW Hab Power Project from conception to the construction start phase as well as all other IPPs presented to the Government of Pakistan until August 1994. He is considered to be a leading expert on all the aspects of the power projects in the private sector.
He has provided consulting and advisory services to the following clients as an individual consultant;

  • Energy Specialist (Consultant), Asian Development Bank (ADB) since January 2014 for the implementation of Renewable Energy Projects
  • Consultant to Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) to prepare, present and defend Tariff Petition to NEPRA for award of Distribution Tariff. The Tariff determined by NEPRA was appreciated by IESCO
  • Consultant to IFC/World Bank; Carried out site suitability study and technical and financial due diligence including detailed review of the feasibility study for 4.4 MW run of the river mini hydro power project in Uganda as a team member of IFC
  • Member of Transition Team for the Restructuring of Pakistan’s Power Sector
  • Report on “Power Sector Growth & Poverty Reduction in Pakistan” prepared for DFID)
  • Team member of ADB’s Mission on “Pakistan Country Assistance Program Evaluation” relating to ADB’s involvement in the Power Sector of Pakistan since 1985 and formation of strategy for future investment by ADB in the Power Sector of Pakistan
  • Consultant to IFC for the Privatization of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company
  • Worked as a member of World Bank mission for project completion report on $760 million Rural Electrification Project
  • Hydropower Expert for the Water Resources Strategy Study for Pakistan funded by ADB
  • Advisor / Consultant to WAPDA on the Privatization and Independent Power Producers (IPPs)
  • Leader of WAPDA/GOP’s team for negotiations with Hub Power Company
  • He will act as Managing Director and Team Leader for all the assignments required by the clients.

Other Members


    Shah Naveed Saeed, CPA (USA); FCA is a financial expert and Chartered Accountant. He is a senior Financial Executive with more than 30 years of experience. He has been Financial Management Consultant (FMC) to World Bank and Asian Development Bank and other donor agencies responsible for the assignments pertaining to financial management assessment, suggesting ways and means for strengthening the system; preparation of financial management and accounting manual based on governmental accounting system. He has vast experience in the energy sector wherein he developed financial models for various IPPs and was involved in the preparation and evaluation of feasibility studies for various power projects.


    Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Bhatti obtained his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in 1975 and has 35 years of in-depth experience in design, planning and execution of power plant projects as well as 220/132 and 132/11Kv grid stations. He will be assisting the team leader in completing all the assignments.

  • Abrar A. Siddiqui ARCHITECT

    Abrar A. Siddiqui have Master and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Syracuse University, USA, Mr. Siddiqui has 35 years in-depth experience in designing, construction and construction management of large infrastructure projects. He would assist Enerpro in estimation of civil works associated with the power projects and will be available to supervise the construction activities.

  • Mishael Ahmed Wasti LEGAL ADVISOR

    Mishael Ahmed Wasti is a Barrister from Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London, UK and LLB from University of London. She has ten years of experience in the field of developing agreements for IPPs while working for Enerpro. She has also worked for Security & Exchange Commission of Pakistan as Assistant Director, Legal and has experience in the corporate sector of Pakistan. She will be available to assist Enerpro in developing, negotiation and finalization of the Security Package Agreements. She will also assist Enerpro’s clients in the corporate sector and in forming the company by the selected sponsors if required.


    Mr. Mubashar Hussain Awan obtained his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2001. He has 13 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, Monitoring & Evaluation, Planning, Team Building, Capacity Building and Team Management. He has worked with Asian Development Bank where he was involved in the design of the Renewable Eergy Projects as well as Distribution Systems for various rural areas of Pakistan. He has in-depth knowledge and experience in design, planning and implementation of distribution networks. He will be available for all the Enerpro’s projects.


    Mr. Waqar Ahmad has three Maser’s degrees in Anthorlogy, Economics and Urdu. He is a Social Sector Specialist with 19 years of relevant experience in the local area development and assistance in the areas of socioeconomic, environment and in the field of community participation. He will support the project team for designing the sub projects. He has been associated with Asian Development Bank (ADB) for more than 15 years and had carried out many social sector evaluations. He would be available to assist Enerpro in preparing land acquisition and resettlement framework for Enerpro’s projects and would assist in preparing involuntary resettlement & donor agencies safeguard policies where required.


    MUHAMMAD HUMAYUN KHAN is a civil engineer with 35 years of experience in the field of environmental engineering. He has worked for the Ministry of Environment, Government of Pakistan since 1994 and was involved in policy preparation related to solid waste management, water supply and sanitation, waste water treatment, conservation of natural resources, forestry, up-gradation of slums, low cost housing, rain harvesting, ozone depletion, EIA, climate change and desalination of sea water. He was also involved in organizing and attending international and national seminars, workshops, trainings and environment/earth days. He would assist Enerpro in the EIA studies of the power plants where required.
